WHY WE EXIST
Why The Maths Clinic Exists
Many students work hard. They attend every class, copy every note and solve past question after past question. Then exam day comes and the same mistakes are back. That isn’t laziness. It’s a weak spot nobody has found yet.
So we don’t start with “How many questions have you solved?” We start with “What’s causing this mistake?”
Every year, the WAEC Chief Examiner’s Reports list the same weaknesses in candidates’ scripts. Most of what you’ll find here comes straight from those reports, connected to what Ghana’s new SHS curriculum expects: thinking, explaining and solving problems, not memorising steps.

I’m Dickson Sarpong, an NTC-certified Senior High School Mathematics teacher in Ghana. In the classroom, I see bright students lose confidence in Mathematics. Most of them can do it. Nobody has taken the time to find out what’s going wrong. That’s why I started The Maths Clinic. If you’re struggling, you don’t need more pressure.
